Discarding
Discarding explores the behaviour and relationships we have with our immaterial content. Through my research it appears the mobile phone is the ultimate tool of consumerism making it omnipresent in our daily lives. I investigated the role of mobile phones in day-to-day life, focusing particularly on the times and spaces of my interactions with my own mobile device.
These are a selection of images that that I shot, showing a trace of my discarding motions with my mobile phone over a 24 hour period.
